She can probably sing better as RD because it's closer to her speaking voice and normal singing voice (no twang to it), but I think she could if she tried.

The combined songs don't feature AJ before any other pony. Winter-Wrap Up isn't really Twilight. But there's the theme that plays before every episode, which is.
But then again, singing doesn't seem to be in AJ's nature. But yet again, it seems to be less of RD's nature than AJ's. |

She doesn't get a song because its really fucking hard to sing with a fake southern accent. Especially when you're singing in such a high key - notice how whenever Applejack sings for long, her accent tends to really slip. |

^ Yeah, but I'm sure if they do a solo song for Applejack that they'd do it perfectly. I'd never doubt the musical talents of any of the voice actors or Daniel Ingram for that matter. I just can't wait for an episode focused on AJ, let alone a song. But eh, I'm patient. |
