It would be inresting to see what nen type they would be and what nen abilities nen they would have too.
Heres an example. APPLEJACK=Enhancers are able to greatly increase their physical attack and defense, and are best suited for close-melee combat. TWILIGHT SPARKLE=Emitter are capable of controlling the deployment of their aura while separating it from their body. RARITY=Manipulator are capable to control living or non-living material. FLUTTERSHY=Emitter or Conjurer with a healing base ability. RAINBOW DASH=Transmuter something involving her Sonic Rainboom. I'm going to look at Hisoka's personality/nen test, according to him:
- Enhancers are determined and simple. - Emitters are impatient and not detail-oriented. - Manipulators are logical people who advance at their own pace. - Transmuters are whimsical liars. - Conjurers are typically high-strung. - Specialists are independent and charismatic. So according we could say that: - Twilight could be a conjurer (or a manipulator). - Applejack would be an enhacer (or emmiter). - Rainbow would be an emmiter (or transmuter). - Rarity would be a transmuter (or conjurer). - Fluttershy doesn't seems to fit any of these, but I would call her a conjurer (or manipulator). - Pinkie would be an enhacer (or specialist). As for what we've seen the mane 6 do in the series in the series: - Twilight is specialist (she is pretty much unicorn Chrollo) or emmiter. - Applejack is enhacer. - Rainbow is manipulator (but this is regular pegasi magic), transmuter or enhacer. - Rarity is manipulator. - Fluttershy is manipulator, conjurer or emmiter. - Pinkie is specialist. And if we were in a HxH setting, what abilities would the mane 6 have? (just trying to think of 1 of who knows how many one could think if I took the time) - Twilight ability is nen itself (unicorn Chrollo) - Applejack would be related to bucking (sheer strenght enhacement like Uvogin) - I can picture Rainbow trying to do something like Killua's Kanmuru (godspeed), she also has average pegasus magic (manipulator type) - Rarity would have something akin to Baise's "Instant Lover" (the name speaks for itself), but if she were a transmuter I would love to see her doing something like Hisoka's "deceitful texture" and "Bungee gum" (but instead making something flexible like a gum something hard like a diamond). Fluttershy has the stare and regular pegasi magic (I think) bot for are manipulator type skills, but I think something similar to Melody's ability to heal and calm others via emision would work too. Pinkie has hammerspace, ability to store whatever she wants in nen created dimension to be summoned whenever she wants to (this would be a mix of Chrollo's Skill Hunter and Knov's Hide and Seek). Man, I'm such a nerd... I'm going to sleep now. |

Fluttershy is definitely a manipulator. In addition to using the Stare, she has a strong connection to her animals. Manipulators who use animals need to have a strong connection to them, as Fluttershy is. An example from the manga is this one guy from the Spiders Arc who worked with dogs.
