I redesigned Twilight's SV designs because I've made changes since the first design I submitted
I also wanted to re-create the uniforms of the Solar Empire because I want there to be a significant difference between the look of the armies. I decided to give the Empire a more "royal guard" look ( I looked a quite a few designs), while the Republic has a more "modern" military uniform. There is something about Twilight's face that bugs me in the picture, I don't know what it is but she looks older than I wanted her to. I tried altering things without messing up the image but nothing really did the trick :I |

I don't mean to be a nitpick, but she seems to be missing her "magician's mark". (that little eye tattoo thing that signifies that she's a humanized version of a unicorn.) |

@Anon #793628: she's a Grand Admiral (basically being 2nd in command under Celestia), she's that high at her young age cause of her magic abilities (as well as being extremely trusted by Celestia) (look at Whirly's original picture on her DA account, it gives a reason (I think)) |

Anon793628: never read her stories, except one. So I can only take it at face value (I do recall the charactes' ages and measurements being presented in a separate image), and I believe Twilight was closer to twenty than thirty... barely a seaman in terms of experience VS age. But that's me being nitpicky. Keep writing, Whirly! |
