MAGIC = PHYSICS
MAKES TOTAL FUCKING SENSE |

@Gitton.
Chill out, I didn't make it. Heck, you're right... |

Maybe the magic was just to grip Fluttershy's tail, and tilting her head back was the pulling. That seems to be what Twilight was doing before Pinkie helped. |

Inivisible shrinking magic rope. Twilight was too lazy for telekinesis. |

"Yup, my magic can pick up a whole orchard of apples and an Ursa Minor. But Fluttershy? Way too much for me." |

Pegasai and Earth may have some inherent immunity from Unicorn; otherwise, unicorns could prolly make mind slaves out of the others; being Magic incarnate is why Twilight could do a Psy attack and cause a town-wide riot, but her fellow elements may have boosted immunity to even her abilities. |

@ Xuncu Well, Twilight didn't magic the PONIES, she magiced the DOLL... So I say the whole "Limited magical immunity" theory you did there still holds up. |

Besides, I think every one of those apples was weaker then Fluttershy. It's the difference between picking up a bunch of tiny things that don't resist and picking up one big thing thats fighting to stay in the box. |

@ Scumbag
If Twilight used that same amount of magical strength, Fluttershy's tail would be pulled out! Do you want Fluttershy to cry? Do you want a horde of Fluttershy fans to murder you if you answer the previous question incorrectly? |
| Nebbie #793727 7 months ago |
@Xuncu that might work, except I remember something from tvtropes about being immune to magic. It goes something like "if someone is immune to magic, why not just magic the air around them to be 5500 degrees? Surely that would kill them as they aren't immune to physics."
The unicorns could make them slaves quite easily, Twilght was probably just holding bakk so as not to hurt Fluttershy. |

Hmm.
Ah: How many Unicorns a) would do that and b) are magically capable of moving faster than a pegasus or hitting harder than an Earth pony? Well, another thing to consider is that both times Twilight TK'ed a pegasus, both Dash and Fluttershy, it was by their tails. What it may also be is that pegasus magic is focused on the wings (or it's culturally taboo to TK a pegasai's wings). As for Earth Ponies, I think only once did they get directly magic'ed, and that was Applebloom willingly accepting Twilight's attempts to magic her cutie mark to work. |
