Earlier versions of this chart used a "masculine/feminine" dichotomy, which an associate of mine felt was inaccurate/unfair. After they reformatted it, I took the liberty of making it readable. |

.....how the hell do you read this? confusing as all hell O__o |
| Ninestempest #792693 7 months ago |
... That is not hard to read - the top explains the ideas and the bottom has examples. Eugh. |

I wondered for a long time how ponies' core traits and stressed-out versions match up. Not the discorded versions (those are just finctions of their elements, whether they make sense for the pony or not) but the breakdowns they have in the other episodes. |

Its just a bar chart, i deal with similar ones a lot. Basically, their pictures on top represent their base personality, and the deviations are represented by the lines. |

Hmmm....interesting. |

So where does "Lesson Zero" go? |
| Nebbie #792806 7 months ago |
This chart is very badly done. Why is energy level scale redundant? Why is passive vs. aggressive a rigid dichotomy not a scale?
This would be much better with coordinate axes. |
| Ninestempest #792849 7 months ago |
The dichotomy is just a mode of thought - why does it have to scale?
Then make one with coordinate axes. |

It's mostly right, the only one that doesn't really fit is Twilight. She goes from Low Aggressive to High Aggressive. |
| Anonymous #793289 7 months ago |
I don't think it has to be repeated that the characters occupy ranges of the spectrum rather than singe point. They ARE well-written, you know :P |

Twilight is sort of the break in this theory. Nice that so much work was put into this charming chart, but I don't think it holds up. |
