10 years ago, nearly three thousand people died in the event shown above. In 2007, diabetes was the underlying cause of death on seventy one thousand, three hundred and eighty-two birth certificates. Either "now I have diabetes from this image" is .5% as funny as this is, or we can all start accepting that just because this happened to wealthy white people it's not inherently more tragic than the millions of other preventable deaths in the intervening years. |
