Leaving aside incredibly dumb "tyrant Celestia" idea I find it funny how people think that they can just remove a person or overthrow government to magically fix everything.
It didn't work in USSR as when it collapsed most of simple folk got buried under debris of chaos followed up after it. It didn't work in monarchic Russia before because country sank in blood and hunger and it took another _tyrant_ to fix things up to an order after said "revolution". It didn't work in Libya because we all can now see what a mess happens here at the moment. It didn't work in France in 1792 and tyrant changed a tyrant in the end. You can't just give people freedom and hope that they will remain nice and friendly. No, they will rampage when they'll realise that now no one controls them now. They will pillage, kill and do other things people normally don't like. Crime syndicates will rise, every governmental system will fall (including police, army, medicine and etc.) Of course, some western folk thinks that "revolution and democracy is cool, down with the tyrant!" They can even drop around nice words to back up their ideas. But people like me (Hello from Russia!) who have to live in countries which just happened to lose their "tyrant" know better the true face of "liberation". Meh why did this wall of text even come out of my mind? D: Probably just tired. |

Our society does seem to have an inherent anti-authoritative bent to it nowadays that mostly manifests itself in displeasure with the government, though I don't think it's without reason. (Measures like SOPA come to mind.) |

I love Luna I really do and I still hate all that bullshit of the Lunar republic. If anything Luna is very set in the olden ways. to me me the idea that she will want to crate a democracy is a silly stupid idea. now that she is no longer NMM i am sure she backs up Celestia on all her decisions.
Why must bronies try to make some stupid conflict between them? Celestia is no tyrant, troll or sexual monster, and Luna is no emo, secluded victim. They both made mistakes they both have worked to fix those mistakes and just want to be happy. Why must we make family conflict where there is none? Still I hope we can stop insulting each of the princesses. In another image I remember some one calling Luna horrible names and the person related insulting Celestia. |
