I dunno. At this point he was one peg, albeit weak, holding back the North Korean war machine. With that peg gone, less is holding it back from making advances to the South. South Korea is on high alert, until his heir actually decides to make peace to end the ages-old conflict. |

Its doubtful that they will do anything aggressive. There's one big red peg to the north that would step in. China is currently on a development boom, and war (and the international sanctions that would follow) would stymy that process. China won't let NK off it's chain, not when there's nothing to gain from conflict. And NK won't risk losing China's support by doing something reckless. |
