The whole Fluttershy and Big Mac is like the biggest WTF to me. I wish people would stop dumping their ship everywhere.
In relation to the picture, I think the coloring is very cute. A bit messy, but that really adds with the entire scene^^ |

@bboifatz: Lyra and Bon Bon are background ponies with little-to-no characterization, we barelly see then for more than 5 seconds at time, Fluttershy and Big Mac are one of the lead and a secondary characters respectivelly, both with pretty solid characterizations, and never did so much as say "Hi" to each other, whenever I ask a FlutterMac shipper why ship this couple, it sums up to "they would look cute together" and "they are the quiet ones".
I do ship characters, my favorite couple being FlutterDash, it is as crack-ish as FlutterMac until you realize how close the two are, being out of the Mane Six the two who know each other for the longest(they ARE childhood friends, afterall) and easily the closest emotionally, the lack of "bonding" episodes the two have(such as Rarity and AJ in Look Before you Sleep) is simply because they don't need it, they already are that close, I don't need to build the relatioship, it is already there, as long as they have "unconfimed" sexuality I am just imaginating then doing a relationship upgrade. On a side note, Soarin'/Rainbow Dash might be even more crack-er than FlutterMac, given Soarin' rather silly characterization, I could imagine Dash going a date with him because he is a Wonderbolt, but get too frustrated just 20 minutes into it with Soarin' getting sidetracked too easily, the only pair I can give to Soarin' is Spitfire, read: someone who must stand Soarin' as part of her job, and could get used to him enough with time, don't get me wrong, I love Soarin' as much as the next person, but you got to admit dealing with a grown stallion who goes drama queen over the possibility of losing pie must be quite frustrating, if I don't react like that to lasagna, he can't do it to pie. |
