The show doesn't really have any "shipping moments" at all; at least I doubt it. But this seems to come closer than most. Most of the so-called Appledash and other ship moments this season have just been (admittedly amusing) freeze-frames in spots that are suggestive of something which isn't actually happening (like AJ/RD "kissing" in The Mysterious Mare-Do-Well, lol).
This, on the other hand, at least is something that really happened. Pinkie's also adding to it by violating equine physiology, holding her leg up like that in what I can only imagine to be an homage to women in old movies doing the same during a kiss. Pinkie's pretty stereotypically "girly", and it seems very much like something that would be in-character for her to do (if anyone still did that anymore, that is, lol). It's cute, and Pinkie's a sweetie... and she's looking kinda good in that dress, lol. |
