Personally, I don't mind the anthro stuff here. It's sometimes cute, sometimes funny, sometimes whyboner. Besides, it's only showing that different parts of the internet can put aside differences and like the same thing (pony!).
We have to do a Hearth's Warming Eve spoof involving pony artists, anthro/furry artists and humaniser artists. That'd be funny and oddly appropriate in showing how we can all get along. |

I just wish the furry fandom would try and do something about all of the sick fucks who see the fandom as a beacon for all of their disgusting fetishes. Half the reason people hate furries is because they do nothing about their image, they come across as disgusting sexual deviants and make little to no effort to correct it. Shit, I KNOW actual furries and they're anything but.
And as for furries leaking into the FiM fandom, let me just say that a combination of Rule 34 and the fact that furries will draw ANYTHING doesn't help. I suggest getting to know your furries before attacking them, there are good and bad just like any other group, and who knows? You might just find a friend. You might also find an appalling sick fuck who draws guro porn. Never judge a book by its cover, but if that cover is sleazy and disgusting you might not want to take your chances. I say, man up and take the jump. A little mental scarring never hurt anyone, right? My two cents, yo. |

ahh, right. Now, hold on. I don't think thats true. There is this, and I also remember one image that was uploaded from furaffinity that was a furry eating pinkie while twilight cooked on a spit. I remember hearing that there was also a massive shitstorm there when bronies became a big thing, resulting in many members actually leaving. I think most of the rage comes from groups of both groups who are often called the other when they really don't want to (bronies being called furries and furries not wanting to be associated with bronies). |

#780610 It really ain't just furry. You can't go to _any_ fetish site without running into a small number of people with some slightly-different-but-related fetish that everyone else hates there. Or the people that combine the relevant fetish with something freaky deaky. Or the people with a completely different fetish that lots of other people think is the same thing. Or whatever.
Like messy/food fetish ("the only thing anypony should have rubbed in their face is chocolate cake!") and scat fetish are constantly at odds, for obvious reasons. Anyway, furries' image problem is more due to the fact that "furry" is _huge_, it's _very_ easy to mix-and-match with any fetish you want, artistic entry barriers are lower (animals are easier to draw than humans), and it's subject to intensive trolling from time to time. |

Alright, I've returned. We don't hate Quebecers because they are different. And let's just put it out on the table right now that I do not hate Quebecers. I have a low level mistrust and dislike of them for many of the following reasons. We hate Quebecers because they hate us. They constantly push and squirm, desperately (so it seems) trying to leave Canada. We hate them because of the huge amount of money spent to keep them in the union. We hate that they undercut various ag sectors with subsidies. My brother doesn't like em cause someone stole his four wheeler, brought it to Quebec and sold it there consequence free. But the main reason everybody hates Quebec is because they think they are special and therefore deserve to be treated better. It's that assholery that pisses people off.
