I still prefer Ditzy Doo, personally. It's a more..."Equestrian" name. I'll continue to use it. :) (Besides, this is the Hub, not Hasbro; they said Derpy because that's what most fans call her and not because it's canon. Grain of salt, everyone.) |

Are all of you really that semantic? The Hub is A PART OF HASBRO, that combined with the fact that Derpy has been canon-ified by not only Lauren but also a whole bunch of other people that work on the show makes you guys seem really desperate. |

I'm pretty sure that everyone agreed that DJ PON-3 was Vinyl's stage name.
Also they HAVE come out and basically said it wasn't Ditsy Doo by process of elimination, since they have always said that they would use Derpy. @Vectorer Those were blind bags. Blind bags don't count, since they go against canon ie. Lulamoon. Also they can use Derpy as a canon name because we're explicitly letting them, and that nobody has the artistic license to her except the people that made her: Hasbro and the FiM team. |

She's been called "Derpy" by pretty much every official medium out there, (although, mostly through filenames and such). Believing in Ditzy at this point is just being in denial. |

Ditzy Doo = Used one time in Winter Wrap-up to refer to an unseen featherbrained pegasus. Name predates Derpy's popularity and as such wasn't initially intended for her. The possibility of the name being put on Derpy was considered but never acted on. The name Ditzy hasn't been mentioned since that episode.
Derpy Hooves = Not mentioned in an episode, but always used to refer to the wall-eyed pony by filenames, people who work on the show, and now the Hub Facebook page. Well.... |

I don't see why it would be an issue to still call her "Ditzy Doo" at this point when both names have been interchangeable for the past 11 months. People don't need to shout down on those who prefer the name Ditzy Doo so long as they don't "push" either name. savy? And I'm not in denial. JBut I'm with Vectorer on this one as Ditzy Doo sounds more Equestrian. |
