Ralph Bakshi had a weird humor, but it was a kinda neat movie... Then again, the uber collab of Disney-Universal-Warner Brothers is hard to bring down... |

I vaguely remember when this movie came out, though I was too young to see it. I wouldn't mind the concept being mixed with FiM, as humans could mate with cartoon characters in that film. |

Noooo, it wasn't bad luck or critics that destroyed it. it was DREADFUL. The animation was awful. The acting was awful. the RL scenery and props clashed jarringly with the animated stuff, especially in the "cool world" scenes. The final climactic scene was a Dadaist mess, and the plot resolution was a horrible asspull. It was trashed because it SUCKED. |

I remember reading that the film was nothing like what Bakshi had intended and he punched someone in the face when told at the last minute about the changes. |

I remember watching it as a kid. Only VAGUELY remembered it. I was probably like 8 or 9. After WFRR, I just didn't get it, it seemed. I kinda want to see it, but at the same time, I kinda don't. |

Isn't the above, like, 90% of all self insert fanfics, anyways? Author avatar is dropped into a universe, is "special" while there. Sleeps with at least some of the cast. Saves the day via asspull. |
