The arrangement's a bit too haphazard for something I'd do, personally; and I've never been a fan of bare white rooms; it feels a bit sterile.
Everyone has different tastes, but personally I like warmer colours and try not to put more than 2-3 things up on the wall of any given room in my place. Posters need to be used especially conservatively, as it can end up looking tacky if they're just plastered all over the place. I keep a ton of pony art on the computer, but I've never really printed it and hung it up like that. I like FiM primarily for the television series, and while I'd buy official merchandise if there was more cool, collector's quality stuff, the inaccuracy of the regular toyline doesn't appeal to me. So all I've really got is the Comic Con poster, and the American Greetings Pinkie Pie Christmas ornament. The comic con poster is framed, though, and on the wall in the TV room. I have a slew of 27x40 theatre-style movie posters that I tend to switch out (in twos) every now and then, also in frames hung up in that room to keep it company. Right now it's Iron Man (the nicest-looking one) and 2009's Star Trek (the inverted silhouette "white ship on black BG" IMAX version). |

Not all that much is represented here in terms of dollar value, really. The electronics would be the bulk of that modest amount, what little official pony merchandise is present amounts to practically nil, and printing-off images and hanging them up is notoriously inexpensive. |

That's a little too much pony in there. I wouldn't be able to sleep with all that Rainbow Dash watching me. I'd prefer Fluttershy; at least she's good at watching over things without disturbing a brotha. Or Rarity at the very least. But dude's comments on his DA are a little... frightening to say the least. I sure hope he's not one of them dudes who bakes birthday cakes or muffins and holds it in front of a Rainbow Dash picture, hoping she'll come out & eat it. |
