Doesn't mean you can't target them in VATS, nor launch a mini-nuke at them.
It does mean that they will only have to sleep it off, rather than die |

No, they don't even go unconscious. They don't take damage without mods, period. Or is it different in Vegas? |

I was sad as hell when I found out you can't aim for the eyes or groin in FO3. Eyes had almost no armor protection, and groin caused huge amounts of pain. Both were so useful. |

In Fallout 3, children took damage and would go unconscious like any regular Essential NPC. Since I always play a Good Karma character (though my methods are sometimes questionable at best), I never make a point of attacking children. The only reason I know about how Fallout 3 handles children is because of the amount of time I spent in the GECK modding the game (and yet the best I can make are unique weapon mods) |
