I hated limited inventory space, though now I recognise that it's part of the challenge (I'm just a total packrat with Items in any game genre), so in the Gamecube RE1 remake, I got pretty good at killing zombies to fall on top of each other, so I could use one 'dose' of oil to set 2-3 on fire all at once (Crimson Heads otherwise, if you remember).
Speaking of Crimson Heads; same game, in the long hallway on the left side of the map somewhere, a zombie I killed but had no oil for, and didn't return to for a long time. It got up, Crimson, and I'm low on ammo, and only the handgun. I'm thinking "Oh, well fuck me," yah? So, I ready my shot, and nervously, let off one shot at chest level while it's still at the faaaaaaaaaaar end of the hallway. Immediatley, it's head explodes and it goes down permanently. Blew my fucking mind. |
