When I first watched this no one had told me what "R.I.P." meant, so I was like "Rip? Who's Rip?" when I saw the gravestone. This was promptly forgotten when Pete attempted to drop Scrooge into the boiling fires of hell, which scared the shit out of me. Disney actually made that far more frightening than Dickens' original scene, where the ghost just pointed to Scrooge's headstone without saying a word. |
