Yes. Yes something is.
The concept of Fluttershy on Xanax* or related pills is vile. Arguably it's even more vile than Futashy and only slightly less vile than the Rainbow Dash rape/humiliation that so many furfags are fond of. We've got a magical land full of unicorns and pegasi and you're going to have one of the main characters, whose kindness is forceful enough to take down dragons, carrying around anti-anxiety drugs. The fact that the artist obviously spent a lot of time and care in making this only makes it that much worse. Just go die, artist. Dig a hole six feet deep and I'll stand over it with a jug of ammonia in one hand and a jug of bleach in the other and pour both in when you're down there. *Had to alter the word because it hits the spambot filter. |

And I think Anon@773663's opinion is no less relevant than others' (death threats aside). Even if the art is wonderful, no-one likes a mean-spirited plot. I mean story. It worked out for "Pinkamena" since that kickstarter was pretty grimdark to begin with, but I'm wondering if slipping back into that tone with Stalkerloo is not just asked for alienated angry viewers all over again. Though I personally don't see what's evil about taking anti-depressants. Sure, it's evil on the artist's part, but it does not tarn FS's name. |

Anti-comic guys: There is nothing wrong with Fluttershy having Xanac in this comic. I had a close friend who was suggested some once because for awhile she kinda overthank things and her line of work was very stressful. She eventually learned to relax and take things easy and ended up not needing to take any anti-anxiety pills. I was recommended some after a particularly harsh break-up, and though I decided not to take any, I still have anxiety issues to this day (which is odd considering I'm often stuck in stressful jobs, but I exercise to relieve that stress). This comic doesn't portray Fluttershy in a negative light and the medicine is used just as a short sight gag meant to get a little laugh over how much of a scaredy cat Fluttershy is. NO...BIG...DEAL! Pro-Comic guys: I can agree with you guys, but can you defend your argument better? Just parroting old memes and posting image links (badly mind you) just makes you look...simple. |

I don't plan on this getting dark. I'm going to take it in the opposite direction, in fact. Fluttershy taking anti-anxiety pills is simply a logical progression of the character.
Scoots bleeding profusely - Twilight teleported her there immediately. Given Twilight's normal MOS, she would knock, therefore she did. This occurs immediately after the last post in the story. I advertised that there would be a continuous story, and that's what this is a part of. The story is not intended to be mean spirited. Scoots has a bloody nose, and that needs to be taken care of, so I have to build up an explanation in the narrative. Certainly, I could go the route of other blogs and simply hand-wave it, but with a collaborative narrative between several blogs, this cannot be done without destruction of continuity. As for the majority of responses... This is pretty sad, guys. You have blown this entire thing completely out of proportion. Then again, that's your prerogative. I'm just going to keep doing more art and continuing the collaborative storyline I'm working on with other artists. This is fan content, people. We are allowed to break canon as much as we wish, or expand the IP in directions that the originals could not go in order to make for more interesting storytelling. Some people may disagree with that, yes, but they may just be an extremely vocal minority. If you dislike where a person goes with the content, don't complain vocally like some spoiled child - create your own fanfic. This is mine, you're welcome to read it. But you're not welcome to demand that I change something that I produce for free and post simply to allow others to enjoy it. |

I wish they made an episode where Applejack and Rarity fly off the handle when they find out Fluttershy uses medication to control her anxiety disorder. Then Twilight would explain to them how the brain is just another organ that may sometimes need medication to function properly.
