Ah, I need to shut up and go to sleep, but one more thing: Putting the Gala tickets at 12 actually gives it the lowest number of total items by the end of the song, since all of those things are regifted on succeeding days. Which would make the dragon part a little crazy, but I wanted Spike represented here somewhere. Meh.

(My apologies if you prefer what you already have, but I think this version fits the song a bit better.)

Robble robble!). What do you think?

Sounds good, but 6, 3 and 1 still don't quite fit the music. Now that I think about it, how about "And Derpy Hooves in a tree"? That lets Derpy in, and still fits the music pretty well.

I've heard several different versions of the song that speeds up certain days to make things fit. In fact, I still say that the Bob and Doug Mackenzie 12 Days is the best ever, and it uses "4 pounds of back bacon."
