They're from different parts of Equestria, they both look young here - I see a particularly young AJ crushing on a cute visiting colt who's a little too young to know better, leading to some very serious conversations from two sets of guardians about blood relations.
But then, that might just be me justifying the adorableness of this image against my contempt for the cheap and easy joke that is Applecest. |

It's nice art, and a pretty adorable (if controversial) subject piece. Not a lot of variation in the colours - shades of green, yellow and orange - but this adds to the aesthetic of the drawing. The body language of AJ and Braeburn tells us a lot about their relationship here. |

What I learned in Sociology class, I heard that that cousin marrying a cousin isn't an incest, but i would still call it incest.. :/
and people already made Bigmac/AJ so why not Braeburn/AJ its hardly incest. But this, I find this adorable, crushing on your cousin, and all, they'll realize when they are older.. |
