The Hero of Time is the one whose planet contains the Scratch device, so it's been assumed that all sessions contain one.
I'm actually more curious about making some hella cool Incipisphere planets for all of them. |

Also the Time player is the only one that the players truly need because without him/her any mistakes made by the other players can't be undone by a quick zip back into the past. |

The Mane 6 represents the second session, the 6 Heroes of Harmony. Celestia, Luna, Discord and one other represents the first session, the 4 Heroes of Balance.
4 elements of balance, Light for Celestia, Darkness for Luna, Chaos for Discord, and Harmony for the hero that never came. That hero was never born in the era of turmoil, and as a result, the 3 heroes of balance quickly turned on each other, with the 2 still good attempting to use their combined power to use Harmony's power, which did not last for long when the Hero of Darkness turned on the Hero of Light. First Discord, then Luna. We've seen the power of Harmony many times, and while Twilight is the key, she is neither the power source nor the creator. Rainbow Dash created all the elements of Harmony when she first awakened as a Hero of her session, when she created the first Sonic Rainboom. However, it infused Twilight with massive amounts of power, making Twilight the Harbinger of Harmony, while Rainbow Dash is one of the 6 heroes of her session and the Hero of Harmony at the same time. Knight of Breath AND Harmony. Imagine of Aradia and the Handmaiden were the same person. It would be a similar situation then. |
