I'd share with you guys my thoughts on the VGAs in text... but why bother when your opinions match those of a well known cynical brit on youtube and I could just post a link to a video expressing these opinions that also suggest ways a better awards show could be done.

To be honest, I wasn't surprised one bit. Spike is not known for having a *ehem* "respectable" reputation when it comes to things like this.

Never enough can be said about that farcial contest. Yes, there's a lot more people who put their work into the video games, but they have to gear the presentation towards the select staff that is expected to show up. If anyone else is able to get tickets to be there, it's by coincidence and luck only. Even if they win something, they will receive it in the manner suited for that contest. They may be busy doing other work, so the trophy would be mailed to them.
