Recipe for a Better Picture: Take out Spike, put in some other pony behind Twilight (as long as it's not someone's OC), shake hips well for about ten minutes... and for Celestia's sake, keep the bedhead look. On Twilight, it just seems to work so well. |

I do like some of these. Like, a lot. Enough that even when I find most of the rest repugnant - most of the Dash stuff being either pretty clearly rape or ridiculously OOC humiliation - I haven't filtered the artist tag yet. But there is just way too much shit in here about power and degradation instead of sex for me to say I actually -like- the artist, whether it's you or not. |

Also, artists can always refuse requests they don't want to draw. If they want to draw it, well, be prepared to have people respond to it. |

This is not hostility by any stretch - this is me as pony fanart enthusiast commenting that, personally, I find rape porn abjectly repugnant and a black mark regardless of why an artist chooses to draw it. I'm not calling for you to be run out on a rail, or stop drawing, or anything of the kind. Like Scoots here, I have a tendency to make a kind of fist-pounding, fast-talking point in text that comes off as aggressive, and I apologize if you feel persecuted (the internet has corrupted that word overmuch) by my tone. I'm just expressing an opinion, and while I aim for an equal emotional response to mine I'm not trying to hurt you.
I've admitted I quite like some of it. Frighteningly little of the Dash stuff, and not this, but a lot of the Pinkie stuff was fun and there's a few Twilight images that worked for me. Hell, even some of the Rainbow Dash stuff was to my taste. There's just a lot that isn't, and I mentioned it. Certainly didn't expect to run into the artist in the process. Keep going, by all means. Just...maybe expand your body of requesters outside whoever it is that hates Dash so much. I mean, unless that's your thing, in which case could you find a tag I can filter and still pick through the rest of it? I happen to like Dash. |

The thing is, I might sound like a hypocrite but I really like Dash a lot as well - no matter how many times I draw her hurt or degraded it's never hate art by any means. I guess I just like to... experiment with the kind of emotions art can provoke, sometimes they are positive, sometimes they are not, and sometimes it's whyboner. But I gotta admit, your remark about the Dash rape pics being OOC got me thinking. I guess a lot of porn is OOC but I can't help but think I could have done better with Dash. I plan to tone down the rape anyway, because honestly it's a carryover from my anime/hentai days and it looks kind of out of place with ponies. As for the tags I would gladly do it if it helps, right now I see that the pic is tagged with "rape" but perhaps something more specific is in order? I don't know. Terribly sorry for stirring up trouble guys, I mean it. |

I mean, she looks either angry or frightened in the rape stuff. That's pretty much in character. I can't say I'd hate less rape in your work. You have a good sense of composition and if this were a full block of consensual porn I'd be dehydrated by now. re: the tags, "Why don't you just filter 'rape', Foals?" you might be asking. Sometimes it's the setup to a Molestia joke, or it's completely for lols (the old "Daffy Duck raping Elmer Fudd" argument), and I can still enjoy that. When the payoff is that it's a rape image, that's where I start, well, responding like this. I pitched the "non-con" tag on the "terrified bondage Dash" image, but given the ease of uploading and retagging I don't have hopes of being able to keep that going. And this is probably the most peaceable conversation about "I don't like this" that has ever appeared on PB, particularly about porn. I wouldn't worry yourself about stirring up anything. ^There's a reason for this: some of us dislike Futashy without caring much about it.
My thoughts: Futashy tumblr is boring, Futashy's penis is too comically out-of-place looking to be taken seriously, and futa just isn't my thing, it's somewhat of a turnoff due to me not liking it when a character's basic anatomy changes. It just kinda clashes with my mental image of them too much except in rare cases like Robo-she where the hotness makes up for it. |
