Yes. |

Hand colored. Because everyone can draw vectors. |
| FeralSocks018 #762343 7 months ago |
It depends on the artist. For example, I'm a big fan of ks4u, but I prefer when her art is vectored than when it is hand colored, simply because I think it looks better.
If I'm the artist, than neither, because I don't draw yet. |

I don't give a damn as long as it's well done. |

> everyone can draw vectors.
I think the concept of a vector work evades you here. Most of so-called "vectors" you have seen (in this fandom) is a simple tracing. There is not so much good examples of original vector work, unfortunately. I can recall only: >>25078 >>25078 >>33586 It is a hell of a work, you know. Quite monotonous, repetitive and hard. |

My kingdom for the ability to be able to draw. |
| Zenith #762390 7 months ago |
i dont know what that means
probably because i have a degree that's actually worth shit suck it art students |

I'm leaning towards vector merely because the show is in vectors, so it's closer to the style. |

I just appreciate whatever is put before my eyes |
| TuxRug #762724 7 months ago |
To view, either. To draw, vectored for now because I don't have good coloring stuff, and vectored comes out cleaner than anything I'd be able to do on paper. I screw up the sketches that I vector. |

If it's tasteful, it's good. |

Kein: don't take what I said too seriously. Of course there are excellent vector artists out there. There are also crappy vector artists and not all vectors are traces. I'm myself very clumsy and the only even remotely passable pony pics I've drawn are all vectors, so I keep saying that "if I can draw vectors, everyone can". Obviously not everyone can.
Making a good image takes insane amounts of time, vector or not. The show is vectors, but I really prefer non-vector images myself. But in the end it doesn't matter. Good images are good, no matter how they're made. |

I'm not quite sure I follow. Do you mean traditional art, with pens, pencils, paints and paper? Or do you mean hand-coloured as in a freestyle, off-model design, much like Noel's or SpeccySY's work?
Ah, I've dabbled in both. It's a lot easier to press ctrl+z than actually rubbing out your mistakes. That's why I really love seeing everyone else's pencil art just as much as the digital art. You have to plan more; mistakes tend to be permanent, especially with pencils and watercolours. Ah, I dunno. It's what the favorite and voting buttons are for. |

Hand-Colored because I do not have the tech to vector. |
| DJGoldNF #763999 7 months ago |
both :3
cus i can ? nah . i like to draw on paper... but if i want something to look good ... vector |
| Anonymous #764133 7 months ago |
Vectored. I like being able to stretch my art from thumbnail to billboard. |
| shdow #766790 7 months ago |
digital art, but non vectors. however making a good vector from a sketch is just as hard as ink it by hand. Even if its digital.
On the other hand, i find it easier to draw on paper and ink in traditional ways with markers. But the power of ctrl+z definitely worth the extra trouble on tablet. |
