(I actually mentally translated "ponydom" as something like "Christendom" initially.)
They seem less species-ist than us. Depending on context: "all the creatures". Celestia also cares about "all her subjects", prankster phoenixes included. Any construction with "man" or "woman" in it → same thing but with "pony". |

"Ponykind" and "Ponydom" are more akin to "mankind," which isn't quite the same thing as humanity.
Among other things, humanity can mean the condition or quality of being human, a definition which mankind can't similarly be used for. |
