I don't see why not? It's not like the Tumblr Blog is claiming to be an art blog or that the mod is an artist. |

^ Think of it this way: the original artist might find out that somebody used his work as basis of their own and will feel bad enough that it affects their art in some way (quit pony fanart, less detailed work, something like that).
All I'm saying is to respect the artist who made the original pic. Any editing is still a modification and subject to the artist's permission. K? |

Even the original artist of the Rarity drawing is drew a pony which is OWNED by Hasbro... Do you think they got permission from Habro before drawing it? What about all the people who make vectors of ponies? Did they ask for permission? If a person is not making money, and changes the image then I don't see the problem.. Heck, if the sofa wasn't included in this picture, no one would probably have even noticed that it was an edit. |
