I just wanted to end this stupid debate...
Also, Vote whore *wink wink* |

I'm not sure whether I should be astounded or disgusted by how much thought was put into this. |

Should I tag this "overanalysis"? Or should I overanalyze even more and point out a couple of glaring mistakes? |

Must...rest... |

'bout time this argument ended. To add fuel to your fire, military cannons have also served peaceful use in dealing with avalanches. |

OK, I should know better, but...
1) Why would Rainbow Dash name Tank after a water tank (or other storage tank)? 2) Why is a bullet train called a bullet train? Seriously, though, y'all are overthinking this. (Or we're overthinking this, I suppose.) |

"Tank" is also a word used to describe a large container used to hold water. As such a container needs to be very strong, sturdy, and reliable, Dash could have easily been referring to this. |

I think youre all just taking this WAAAY too seriously. |
| Anonymous #759192 7 months ago |
To add to double A's above, how does any storage tank show "A certain kind of spirit. A stick-to-it-ive-ness. A never give up, can-do attitude that's the mark of a real winner." that you can't stop? |

AcuteAngle has it with point 2. The pacifists' argument went tits-up when they tried to present the bullet train as an argument. Bullet has always meant a small projectile, and the bullet train was named after it.
On the other hand, perhaps it's a different nation that has all the military hardware, and Equestria defends its borders with pony hooves and magic. After all, bullet was originally a french word. Perhaps Rainbow was just referring to an invention from Prance that was known to travel extremely fast. And apparently I have nothing better to do tonight. Haw. |

Both the people in this argument need to get laid. Not that they will. |
