Philomena and the Death Arcana
I knew I was going to have trouble thinking of a character to match this Arcana, but as soon as I remembered Philomena, everything fell into place. The Death Arcana represents “metamorphosis and deep change, regeneration and cycles.” The perfect description for Philomena’s drastic physical change following the mythos of a Phoenix, plus, Philomena is the only character in the show that has technically died. Pharos, the prophetic boy from your dreams in P3, often talked about an approaching disaster and is the first character you speak with who talks about being unable to escape fate, delivering us all to the same end. Hisano in P4 may not have had such a plot important role as Pharos, but the saddening tale between her and her husband can show the death of love even when two connected hearts are still beating. Both games have used non-sentient animal characters for Social Links, so spending time with a creature that can’t speak the same language isn’t too far-fetched from what the series has already done. What goes on in the mind of a creature who will never know the finality of death? If this were an actual game, the Death Social Link would probably be one of my favorites. Gameplay wise, it would be cool if we could see a single lifespan of Philomena during the link’s duration. Watch as she starts out as a brilliant looking bird and each visit we see her slowly change to her molting first appearance, then remerge as brilliant again at the end. |

i get it, what most people dont realise is that arcana dosn't mean actual death but something diffrent altoghether, because of the name. that's why most media use it instead of tower to protray doom.
btw Discord shoud be XV a stain glass window in Canterlot Tower even LOOKS like the card! |
