Of the main and important secondary characters, three are Unicorns, two are pegasi, one was an earth pony, and one is a zebra. There were also several griffons. The main antagonist for much of the story was an earth pony. |

Only the two primary stories, other stories balance it out a bit. Puppysmiles is an earth pony for instance. |

"Oh Littlepip, I can see you plotting." BTW: Not sure if it was a serious question or if HAZX was just trying to be unpleasant, but to answer, no. The story called for a unicorn protagonist due to the role played by the pegasi and the themes surrounding the Earth Pony Way. However, protagonist aside, the main cast included one of each pony type, and there is fairly healthy mixture of the pony types in various roles. |

One of the big reasons for using a unicorn protagonist is that they allow you to use memory orbs as an exposition device. The other pony types can't use them. |
