It's based on Fluttershy being a somewhat crummier flier then most other Pegesi, she was a year or so later then the others in her foal class to start learning and is generally the slowest and "safest" flier, so people have adapted the idea that she's a heavier pony the other pegesi, and when translated into human that means she has a pudgier physique then the more athletic representations of other fliers, like Rainbow Dash and the wonderbolts. |

Snips wants more than just pound cake @ cdyoung Never thought of that before, the shy and motherly components always stuck out more to me. Although, it should be more on aerodynamics than weight. It still amazes me that Power Girl can fly, superpowers or not. |
