fun fact, those dogs NEVER gave out alcohol to those lost in the snow. In fact alcohol is really bad for you if you're loosing body heat as it messes with your body's ability to feel the cold and so you don't take action to keep warm.
The barrels around the neck were just for a photo opportunity and the image stuck. |
