Dr. Hooves and the Fortune Arcana
Time to give the background ponies some love; I had this idea from the start since the Fortune arcana has to do with luck and time. To my knowledge, Dr. Hooves doesn’t share too much in common with Keisuke or Naoto, but there is a concept of time he shares with Ryoji. Without spoiling the game, Ryoji’s social link is only around for a brief time, and if you miss even one chance to advance the link, it’s gone for good. Plus, one decision with Ryoji can change the future of the game, much like how the theory of a single action in the past, no matter how insignificant, can create an alternate timeline. That’s about all I have for him, so enjoy your time with the Doctor. |

Wait you can have a social link with Ryoji?! Man, wished I knew before I beat the game |

BTW TrueAstral, is P3P worth getting even when I already got P3/P3FES? |

@ZePassionateOne
I would recommend it yes. The Female Protagonist offers two brand new characters for two social links as well as alternate characters for social links played as the Male Protagonist such as: Junpei instead of Kenji for Magician Akihiko instead of Mamoru for Star Ryoji instead of Keisuke for Fortune and more. There are two new difficulty modes: Beginner and Maniac. You can fully control your teammates like in P4 and the follow-up attacks are present as well. Unfortunately, the Answer isn't included, but the Desert doors still show up as a Full Moon Boss replay challenge mode. There are some secrets as well, but I'll leave you to find them if you want to try it out. Bottom line, it's great. |

Oh thank GOD! I hated it that you couldn't control your mates in the original P3. That's a great plus. |

Yeah, that was the second reason I bought it after the alternate story. Oh and three more changes:
1) You only have one weapon type to use, like in P4, but the male and female protagonist have different ones. 2) You pay the clock to restore HP/SP on the first floor of Tartarus, but now you can warp to the highest floor you visited by using the main door. The teleporter is also still there if you want to travel to miniboss floors that way. 3) Daytime gameplay has you control a cursor on a still backdrop with 2D character sprites, while Tartarus is still free movement. The quick travel shortcut feature from P4 is available during the day portions. |

The arcana is the means by which all is revealed. Alongside time exists fate, the bearer of cruelty. |
