Suppose that makes sense. I just figured with unicorns being the mages of the setting he'd have one too. Maybe twisted or artificial looking to show there was something very wrong with him. Y'know, besides the insanity and whatnot. |

Something like that. Or maybe cracked and chipped or an unusual shape. His power comes from the magiteck infusion so it'd be a way to emphasize his unnaturalness. And it would prevent people from complaining about how earth ponies aren't supposed to use magic. |

^ Unsettling yes but unlikely. Later materials (like Dissidia) have shown Kefka to be something of a narcissist. That (and considering his reaction when Celes stabbed him) likely means having anything riveted to his face is a no-no in his book. |
