^ I wouldn't say its crappy. It just didn't bring anything additional or exciting over the other movies with the same plot. Heh...plot.
It was good enough that kids and teens who hasn't watch pocahontas/dances with wolfs/fern gully/last samurai/etc to find it enjoyable. Personally i find it meh, but if it was crappy, people wouldn't watch more than once (I know I wouldn't). That aside, there are tons of other movies far better than Avatar. Now go ponify them. |

My biggest complaint with Avatar is that all the visual designs were just plain boring.
Want a dog? Add 4 more legs. Want a horse? More legs! Want a rhino? Make it huge! What about a panther? MORE LEGS! Seriously...they were all just modified earth creatures. |

The only good thing that ever came out of Avatar was lack of red visuals. Too much red makes it hard for me to see for some reason. |
