that was an awkward sentence. Anyway, I'm hoping the series ends before it goes full "Spongebob" and becomes husk of it's former self.

here's the thign. FiM is not the same as G4, much how the midnight castle special and MLP tales were both G1.

This gen has been incredibly profitable, so I have to ask.

after FiM, do you think anything else they do with G4 will ever measure up? I sure hope so.

and even further on, what about G5?

We shouldn't focus intensely on the end right now. But as for G5 I REALLY hope that whoever is behind it has it based in equestria still, that and still give it the quality we have in FIM right now.(Note how I said nothing for the "Bronies"

When you realize you're such a pathetic loser that a damn tv show ending causes you to lose all direction in life.

Oh, come on...
FiM is good and fun and all, but if your life revolves around it, something is very wrong with you.

most people more or less lack objective. they more or less live to work, no passions or projects to pursue. their entertainment gives them the illusion of an objective. this is true for a LOT of people, not just bronies.

Had this same problem when Avatar:TLA ended. Luckily, they confirmed a new show afterwards so I just waited. With MLP: Fim, if they don't confirm a new spin-off or something, then I'll just watch the reruns and wait for the next Faust show

@AdrianBrony "most people more or less lack objective. they more or less live to work, no passions or projects to pursue. their entertainment gives them the illusion of an objective. this is true for a LOT of people, not just bronies"

That is very true and it's one reason why I've distanced myself from some of my American friends over the years. They just live paycheck to paycheck, no ambition.

That's easy, watch it again.
Though I do hope that they make a conclusion rather then dragging it out long after it should have been laid to rest with dignity.
And on that day I will salute this fine show and remember all the good times.

I'm kinda hoping the show runs for about three seasons, and then finishes it off with a big movie, most show's like this tend to be good for about three seasons and then start sucking, and they last that long only when they're lucky. after that I imagine the fanbase will start to slowly die off after it ends, which'll probably take about two years before everyone completly moves on and EQD dies off at about that point

that's because there is little room in ambition for most Americans lives. what little time off they get they are too tired to do anything, or don't have enough motivation left in them to start something.

Plus, vacations are horrifically hard to get. you are lucky to get ten days a year, which last I heard is the minimum, and there are so many ways to get screwed out of them.

Watch either Dragon Ball or One Piece.

It'll take you years to catch up.

This is why I usually have a good half-dozen or so shows I watch. Iron Man, Voltron Force, the new Thundercats, Transformers Prime. And if nothing else, Power Rangers is still going, too.

I thought this was about a series making you think and give you new goals.

Then I realized someone might've meant that they devote such a large portion of their life to a show that it becomes a huge hole when it's over.

No. I don't do that. You shouldn't do that either. It's silly and it's bad for you.

Don't mourn the future. Live for now, and let the future take care of itself. Enjoy FiM to the fullest while you can. Maybe get a hobby. I love tropical fish. I own 75 tanks, from 2 gallons all the way to up 275 gallons. They're not all full and running right now, but I've got plans.

If you finish watching one series, you go to another series. Then you keep watching until you've seen all the series. And then you have talks about them at coffee shops.
Or do you mean ponies? There's plenty of pony. Read Equestria Daily daily, play the romhacks, we're still waiting for a ton of games and fan movies. Read fanfiction. Learn how to draw ponies.
Don't have enough animated series? Fuck no, there's plenty of animated series like all the shit that gets referenced here.
Season 3 was confirmed right? We'll be here for another year at the very least. Who KNOWS when the fandom is gonna die out.
You should never run out of things to watch or play.
