OP: I'm starting to wonder if i should've switched rarity and dash's names. Rarity's name is a reference to her g1 expy and Dash's is a reference to her element, but thene again Dash is a glory hound and Rarity is devoted to her work... eh. |

OP: For Big Mac, i was thinking of "Aaron". It means "mountain of strength" and "enlightened." He's strong enough to knock a group of mares over the horizon and generally more sensible than AJ. |

so I did a vit of research and I should have known that there wouldn't be many traditional names for girls that mean strength/honesty/courage/power the only other name that is even familiar was Matilda, and Valerie was far more popular, particularly in Texas. you win. I will retract my complaint. |

Valeria is hardly a fitting name for a human Applejack. Why not something like Ajay or just plain AJ? Even Jackie can work. Sure they sound boyish but this is Applejack we are talking about. She is a cowgirl who lives on a farm and has no qualms about getting dirty. Hardly the type for having pretty names. |

I'm okay with this. Fluttershy = Megan Eh...I guess. Sounds kinda plain. Applejack = Valerie Mmmm....nah. I suggest Ginger (as in Ginger Gold, the Virginian apple and it means spring-time and flourishing) Rarity = Gloria Ehhh, maybe? Antionette is better as it sounds 'fancy' and means 'praiseworthy' (something Rarity aspires to). But I guess my choice might be too long? Rainbow Dash = Denise Meh, okay. Pinkie Pie = Cassidy Good Spike = Arthur TOO OBVIOUS! lol But I can't think of a better one. Maybe just cut his name down to Artie or Art? |

Rarity = Regina Rainbow Dash = Daphne "Dash" Rines, a.k.a. Personally, I'd have gone with Dawn for Twilight, and Jackie for Applejack...
Can't really think of anything for the others that would be different. Arthur for Spike is actually pretty clever, though. |

I've gone with
Rayne for Rainbow Dash Jackie for Apple Jack and Diane for Pinkie was never great at picking Names for the other three, but in the end they all end up getting their "Pony" names as Nick Names for each other. |
