I don't think she's doing anything with him yet. She is immortal, he is mortal. She has plenty of time for him to grow.
Also, in my headcanon thanks to my nano fic, she was burned badly in her last relationship with someone who was old and almost at the end of his life, so it stands to reason she would try to avoid anything that reminded her of that. |
