What, you want them working in Walmart-type conditions? Barely any pay to keep their house, without having to use free clinics and the food and clothing banks meant for underpriveledged? That's what the unions negotiate for, so the workers can take care of themselves, without depending on free aid from anyone.

Then quit handing out swanky grace-and-favour apartments to your cronies.

And while we're at it, the level of social mobility I've seen at play in the walls of Canterlot can't be good for society. Why only the other way I saw some diamond-arsed trollop from Ponyville wheedle her way into the upper echelons in under 22 minutes not including ad breaks and song. Back in my day, ponies knew their place and were glad of the buggywhip.

Everytime you talk about politics, a Twilight Sparkle cries.

Seriously, in all of these things, Twilight is crying.

During the Industrial Revolution, Unions were a necessity, but today, they are nothing more than gangs that hurt the individual.

Though I am also in support of reform to our system, people need to realize that while the rich paying more wouldn't hurt them, it would prevent them from creating jobs for the lower classes. They need surplus profit to create new locations for their businesses, which provides work for potential thousands.

I don't know what's funnier, the Political Ponies cartoons, or the fact that there are people who take them seriously.

Right Nullen up until the 1960's when the top tax bracket in the us was nearly 90% the country was terrible shithole, but now with a top bracket of 35% and no capital gains tax we are on top of the world
