Could someone please tell me how "Fleur De Lis" is pronounced? I keep saying "floor deh liss" but since this is French I'm guessing that's not it.

The fan name may not necessary. According to the wiki, her name is Elizabeth.

"fl" as in "flop"
"[y]ur" as in "urge", articulated front as if you were going for "yurge".
"d[i]" as in a cut-short "dish"
"le" as in "leap".
Final S is silent.

... ish. Not a native French speaker.

Simple fact of someone mishearing "listen" for "Elizabeth" shouldn't be enough to grant her a name.

I'm not saying "Fleur de lis" is better. I'm saying justification "Fancypants said that" is incorrect.

Fleur de lis is pretty much canon now, I don't particularly like the name but I'm going to put it aside and not let it interfere with me enjoying the character,

^ Im fucking french. It's not how you pronounce it at all. There's no equivalent for the "eur" sound in english.

Like this, maybe: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/00/Fr-une_fleur-fr-ouest.ogg The /œ/ is strange, and the /ʁ/ is even stranger.
