"fl" as in "flop"
"[y]ur" as in "urge", articulated front as if you were going for "yurge". "d[i]" as in a cut-short "dish" "le" as in "leap". Final S is silent. ... ish. Not a native French speaker. |

Simple fact of someone mishearing "listen" for "Elizabeth" shouldn't be enough to grant her a name.
I'm not saying "Fleur de lis" is better. I'm saying justification "Fancypants said that" is incorrect. |
