From Wolfram Alpha, a sphere of water 4 cm in diameter (best approximation of blob size and composition) weighs 33.5 grams. 33.5 grams at 3.24 meters per second is 175.8 millijoules of kinetic energy, and all of it was lost as they skidded/rolled to a stop. So there's your answer.

...wow, I can't find anything on this subject; at least, not the actual physics of it. I must look into this! I put my life on the line for science!
