I liked him as a character. He has class, tact, influence in Canterlot, not to mention that attractive trophy-wife (physically speaking), but he's not like most of the stuck up bourgeois ponies that pervade Canterlot who would/have shunned Rarity for being affiliated with Ponyville ponies. Rather he accepted them as an oddity, calling them "rustic" and interesting. Of course that is what we got from one episode and he's just a side-character with no real weight to the overall theme, but nonetheless I bravo'd at his performance. Well done. |

But that doesn't mean we've seen the last of him. I've been seeing this a lot, the creators are purposefully leaving things like this just for the purpose that they could be used again later... ...like they have some big idea for later on...? I mean, heck, the fact that they simply turned Discord back into stone instead of destroying him and/or bringing out a good version (like with Luna vs NmMoon) is a HUGE example of this... WHAT ARE YOU PLANNING, STUDIO B!? |
