It doesn't matter if you're left handed. You're still expected to hold the instrument in your left hand and your bow in your right. Imagine what it would be like if you were playing in a larger ensemble with them switched. It would cause all sorts of problems since you could accidentally bump elbows with the person to your left! |

I know that, Somebrony. I am a professional musician in real life. Most lefties do indeed learn to play with their right hands. Especially in orchestras where you'd run into issues with facing the other way. But they're not playing in a large orchestra. And even some large orchestra groups have some lefties. They usually stick them in odd spots. But they're still there. |
