Is Fallout Equestria a bunch of pony OCs being all Fallouty? People keep praising the thing, but I can't really arse myself to read it. |

This Raider is totally the "just murderous, non-infected kind". As well as having quite a bit of "honour" and mental capacity it seems. At least I see her as a mare of her words. And ouch, Slug's right foreleg looks broken there. |

Stank, Its mostly OCs because it take place two hundred years in the future after a war with the zebras killed nearly everyone. The original cast and lots of the background cast still show up in devices call Memory Orbs which let a person see a persons memories from the past. The original fallout equestria is just awsome and should be read first, and New Horizons is almost as awsome and surpases it in a few areas. As far as the pic goes I love this series. |

I'd call it Fallout being all pony-y, actually. It's really like someone's written a Fallout game but replaced all the references to pre-war politics and places with FiM locations and characters. It's a refreshing read.
I only really read the first couple of chapters of the original; it's very well written. I never finished it, partially because it gets a bit more fanfic-y over time as it gets into pre-war events (Snips and Snails as royal wizards...really?) and the heroine is just annoying (it's forgivable, since she acts mostly as if she was a video game character, and we know what we do in games would seem inconsistent and psychotic in a real person)...but mostly because the size of the whole thing is the size of a phone book (43 chapters and each one is twice as long as the previous one), and I didn't feel like making that time commitment to absorb someone's fan universe. But I didn't regret the time spent on reading the beginning. |

Well, I think you captured the detail well. It works well with "the wasteland doesn't give 1 cap" theme of it. |
