I thought a furry was someone who believes they are animals trapped in a human body and dress up like animals so they can have sex?
I didn't think that humanized animals made someone a furry. Nor does dressing in a costume make you a furry.. Furry is a state of mind. Not an action you perform.. You can't be told you are a furry. You have to believe you are. |

Furry tends to run a fairly large gamut, much like any distinct group. From those who merely like anthromorphs (usually stemming from Disney nostalgia), to those who believe they're a dragon. Some are nice, some are crazy.

The fact that people love humanized ponies makes this argument invalid.
The real reasons people don't like furry (anthro) art is that the majority of people who draw it completely suck at character design and/or art in general. Most of it consists of an overly sexualized human body with an animal head and various animal features hazardously added with all the care of Rob Leifield adding pouches. Maybe if furry artists were to start imitating the style of those Disney cartoons that claim to have inspired them, and less time imitating each other, they'd be capable of producing something worthwhile. On a non-artistic level, furries are no worse than other people who get ridiculously enthusiastic about shit that sucks. No more or no less deserving of scorn and ridicule than Dragon Ball, Naruto and Two and a Half Men fans. |

There are people out there (mainly on 4chan) who bash furries for all the normal reasons but fap to MLP. This comic is pointing out how hypocritical and in a way more perverted than furries they are. |
