CowelMr, the actual Cupcakes fanfic was written before Party of One. THAT version has poofy hair and a poofy attitude. "Modern" depictions of Cupcakes tend to feature her as "Pinkamena", with straight hair and psycho personality.
So, in the original version, she would be delivering those lines completely straight and innocently*. *Your mileage may vary on what constitutes "innocent" here. |

The spelling and grammar is by and large superior, I suppose. They're about on par if you're assessing them critically as stories with regards to pacing, conflict, voice, etc. |

I know that at the time Cupcakes was written, Pinkamena was not in the PD yet.
That said Pinkamina is a better fit for Cupcakes then Pinkie Pie. |
