Wasn't Ultra Magnus just a recolored Convoy (Prime), that came with a Bodyarmour Trailer? |

In design terms, yes. But he was different character-wise.
DeeperMadness, Roddy may have started out rough (who doesn't?) but he eventually grew into the role. Optimus wasn't perfect to start out with either - who knows how long it took him to get his desire for vengeance under control? |
