It's obviously the site of a new bridge...unfortunately, the workers are stuck behind the project building the new home we saw that got demolished when Pinkie Pie saved them. |

Maybe there used to be a bridge there, but the Ursa Minor stepped on it before it entered Ponyville way back in Episode 6. Hey, the time lapse between episodes is pretty difficult to determine, as is the average construction of a new bridge.
That said, Appaloosa was built in only a matter of a few months... |
