G3 toys were pretty good, should be closer to G1 on the chart. I still think G4 toys beat G3.5 though |

This chart mean nothing. "Quality" mean is the thing meet the standards that are asked for. All the toys met the standards and went to the market. So, all gens are the same.
This chart should have been about show-accuracy, and/or fan interest. If it's the later case, G1 is a tough behemoth to beat, and G4 still have a very long way to go. |

#718303 How could G4 be selling better than G1-G3? G1 lasted for about 10 eight years while G4 is only just started it's 3rd. Also there are hundreds of G1 ponies and merchandise.
And Hasbro have been sloppy with the quality of the G4 toys. I've seen pictures of G4 ponies with no cutie marks, cutie marks put in the wrong places, hair in horns, smuged eyes/cutie marks, heads being a different colour has the bodies. |
