Oh... This adorable ponyfied chikorita... brings me back memories... I'm going to tell a boring personal story of mine now!
I have both SS and HG. I started with a chikorita in HG, but I never evolved it. I knew that wouldn't be a good idea, but I really liked it as it was. Eventually, I actually boxed him in favor of an oddish. Raise another cute grass type while I keep another I loved from evolving. I could even bring the chikorita with me for walks with the pokewalker. Seemed like a good idea all around. But over time, I missed having Kori (my chikorita if you couldn't guess) in my party. Greatly. So I actually went and swapped Lina (oddish) for Kori, leveled him up a little, and kept him around for a couple of gym battles. Eventually, I swapped him back for that oddish, but it felt so refreshing to have Kori around again for a while... I really missed him! And now I'm missing Kori again almost as much as I did back then... Maybe it's weird but really, this picture reminds me strongly of him! Sometime soon, I should play HG again. Or transfer him and my main party from that game to SS. I never really did put in nearly as much spirit for HG as I did for SS. Forced things too often since I played SS before HG. |
