well apparently they used to keep to themselves. something about pre-equestria times. it was mentioned in some official contend. I think the iOS game. It could be perfectly believable that they have their own written languages in addition to english used traditionally. but what about the cryllic looking language and the runic looking one? |

"Neigh" is "neigh" in all the languages. Just the writing abilities of seaponies, pegasus, and earth ponies are different from unicorn, and developed different writing symbols. |
